Out animation was about a young girl that was designing a logo to cyber arts but wasn't the best painter, so her class mates all stepped in to help her create the logo. In the end the logo turned out wonderful, thanks to all the team work! :)

"This piece caught my eye because when I was little I use to have these things lkind of like puzzles with blocs that looked just like these ones that you would fit into the grove of another pice of wood blocking."

-Optical Devices Site

I really like how this site is first laid out when you get to the home page,
it reminds me kind of a vintage stetting. I really like it except maybe they could have
made the background some kind of floral patter or something because it just looks to plane.

Here's the link to a "Stereoscope"

-The way it works is it has to pictures one for the right sight or vision and one for the left,
each photo is slightly different so that when you look into the "Stereoscope" you see a 3D image.

-This is really interesting to me because it's amazing how people can come up with something so excelled but so simple at the same time. This creation is very old, I would love to see how one works in reality.

-The "Stereoscopes" also known as stereopticons or stereo viewers, were made in 1838 and popularized in 1881. It was Americas most popular forms of entertainment back then. The first one ever made was made by a a famous man by the name of, Sir Charles Wheatstone. Charles wasn't a popular guy to being with, so there was still no way he could get these things to be popular. Until one day Oliver Wendell Holmes (Charles partner in crime ;) came alone and made a later version that soon enough all of America knew about.

How-to Tutorials for stop motion animation.

This tutorial is on how to make "Claymation"
It introduces steps and props you can do/use to make your very own claymation project.
It also states that your camera and background should never change. (unless your building onto your back ground its self)
I watched this video and found it very helpful (really I did) and I might just make my own to show you Mrs.Silverman. :)

Gulp was a pretty cool Stop-Motion Animation to watch because the whole thing looked like it was made from clay, but it was really made of a beach from way up in the sky. It must have been a very complicated process because the set had to be changed up every picture that was taken.
The making of GULP was really amazing to watch because it took them 5 days, day and night to make this 1:43 video, which would be pretty exhausting if you ask me. The producers didn't hire anyone, students just volunteered for the fun of making a stop motion. They also filmed it using nothing but peoples smart phones and three monitors to watch over the footage. This, was an amazing piece to watch.
This is my Stop-Motion I chose from Youtube to post because I thought is was very creative how The creator "Jonny Lawrence" Drew all of this on a white board.

Logo Assignment

I chose to do my Logo on the White tiger. I chose to do this because Tigers are one of my favorite animals because along with Lions they're the only Cat that can RAAAAWWWR! <true fact) Tigers are very keen animals they're very mystical and curious creatures. I used the Pen tool to trace my best around the image of the tiger to get the out lines and the inside shapes to make my image look more realistic.

Rhythm Assignment

I created these two pictures on Adobe Illustrator CS6 by using the pen tool along with the line tool. To create the different types of lines I went and changed them up to what ever looked best to my eye. The first picture is steady, meaning the lines go in the same direction but they're not the same quality or direction. The second picture is Dynamic, meaning the lines vary the direction, quality, type, and position.

This is a group art assignment.
I added more contrast and I brightened the photo as well as cropping out the edges and grey scaling it.

Chess Piece

My chess piece was drawn to look realistic, have proportion and value to it. I added really dark shades that are almost black that make the picture pop like it’s actually sticking out of the page. I made my chess piece about three fifths of the page to make it seem like it’s being dragged into an endless black hole. The shading that has been done to my drawing goes from the white of the page to the darkest black gray shade I could possibly make it without warping my page, which makes all creations well drawn too stick out.

This piece has Movement to it because it looks like the chess piece it’s being dragged into the middle of the page. I created pattern by making an endless spiral that just keeps going into a black hole. This also has created some rhythm too. The focal point in the middle comes out into numerous light and dark sections, this is called Radial Balance.

Each chess piece drawn had value to it, meaning it has different shades from very light too extremely dark. My piece varies from a lot of dark to whites and greys. My spirals go from really dark and flow out to a light grey giving this drawing the rhythm and pattern it has.

To be completely honest I had no clue what I was going to do with my drawing, I just kind of drew it off to the side of the page because the rules simply were to draw the chess piece anywhere but in the center of the page with a background that made it pop out. After I was done drawing my chess piece I obviously had to add something else into the back ground so I started off sketching what I thought looked like a continuous spider web. After I did that I looked at it and it seemed to plane so I started to shade the middle as dark as I could make it, and simply kept shading it lighter and lighter to make it seem like my chess piece is being dragged in the center of the page.

The focal point on my piece is kind of confusing because it may seem that your eyes are led to the center but they’re not! Even though your eyes may be led to the middle of the page, I added a darker shade to the upper part of my chess piece and that makes your eyes wander towards the right hence making my chess piece the focal point.

Ahhh It Looks So Good <3

Hair Cut Day

I chose to use this picture of myself for my profile photo because it was the first day I shaved my hair. To me this is kind of a big deal picture because it symbolizez a new change in me and I've become more mature and creative with myself.
I Took the photo and I cropped it out because there were some unwanted legs in the top right corner and I edited it. I went into Photo shop and I darkened the contrast and I made the picture brighter are if there was a flash being used. I also cropped out my bits of hair at the bottom to make it look more presentable. I like the look of this picture and my hair, I haven't regretted it even though some people dislike the look, I love it! :)
